This is a blog I started back in 2023 as a way of “releasing” music consistently without having to worry about whether it was good or not. The original intention was to post every day, which didn’t last long (2 days). The name remained, however. The idea was inspired by C418’s old blog from 2007.
My original comment for this was “I didn’t expect this to come out. I was playing around with the sound I made at the beginning and ended up spending two hours on this crappy little song when I could have been doing other things.”
I appreciate the song more now that it’s had time to ripen, but it still isn’t my best work. Kind of an in-between thing.
I made this one right as this website started, but before I bought the “cymphace.com” domain. There were ads, a gross banner at the top of the screen, and I couldn’t upload MP3s directly to the site. So I continued to use YouTube for the time being. When I uploaded this one, it gave me a copyright warning for the first 20 seconds. Odd.
This one was not as good. It was made the day after #1, in about 20 minutes. As you can tell by the title, AED was originally supposed to be made every day, then I quickly realized that was basically impossible to do. So now I post them whenever I want. I try to keep it semi-frequent though.
This is where it all started. Although, when I made this first entry, it was a few weeks before this website was even an idea. I was originally going to have them all be on YouTube. I forgot what the original comment I made on this was.
It’s kinda boring in the beginning, and the bass is too loud. But about halfway through, it completely changes. I much prefer the second bit.
By the way, for the first 4, I’m rewriting their posts now that I’ve moved stuff around on my website, so I will edit the publish dates to match when the songs were created.
